Delete my Wiri account

1. Send your request

Use the button above to open a prefilled email, then send it from your email app. If no email app opens, write directly to contact@wiri.fr with the subject “Delete my Wiri account”. This page does not automatically submit a request.

Include the email address or phone number linked to your account. Preferably send the request from that email address. For Google or Apple sign-in, provide the address linked to Wiri, including an Apple relay address if applicable. Never send your password, sign-in code or payment card details.

2. Verification and processing

Our team handles requests manually. We may request proportionate verification to confirm account ownership; do not send identity documents unless requested. We acknowledge your request and inform you of the outcome, normally within one month. If an extension is needed, we explain why.

Closing access and permanently erasing data are separate steps. You may also request deletion in the app settings, but you do not need to reinstall Wiri to use email. A legal guardian may contact us on behalf of a minor.

3. Data covered

The request covers your account and associated personal data: display name, contact details, authentication information, preferences, game history, scores and account messages. These are deleted or anonymized once processing is complete, except where retention is justified below.

4. Data that may be retained

Payment records and information strictly needed for legal obligations, fraud prevention or a dispute may be retained for the period applicable to that purpose. Technical copies may remain until backups rotate. They are not used to reactivate your account.

5. If you have a subscription

If Google Play, the App Store or another provider manages your subscription, cancel it with that provider as well to prevent renewal. Sending a request from this page does not automatically cancel a subscription or request a refund. Contact us if you need help.
